The Attempt To Redesign Women (From "Dear
Pharmacists")
FROM WHERE ARE THE SEEDS OF DEATH? I WISH TO ARGUE THAT THE SEEDS COME
FROM THE ATTEMPT TO RE-DESIGN WOMEN! Of course, this seems ridiculous,
but I urge you to ponder more deeply. Rarely indeed will a chemist
attempt to re-invent a woman with three hands, or four feet, or five
eyes. This belongs to the realm of absurdity. But people want to change
their fertility even although this is part and parcel of themselves, or
what they are. And so young women would like to seek sexual
satisfaction WITHOUT THE RESULT OF PREGNANCY. They want to RE-DESIGN
THEMSELVES SO THAT THEIR FERTILITY WILL BE RELEGATED TO AN OPTIONAL
EXTRA. Shall we choose God or ourselves? If we go with God, we thank
Him for what we are, our existence, life, being gifts, capacities. We
respond accordingly in love and gratitude. On the other hand the use of
CONTRACEPTIVES implies the philosophy of atheism. It implies that men
are masters of themselves instead of servants of their Creator. People
then reject God and live by themselves, alone, so to speak.

Braemar, Aberdeenshire, AB35 5YT, Scotland.)
Will Rogers’ Diagnosis
Will Rogers’ diagnosis of what was wrong in the country when he was
alive is even more appropriate now. "WHAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS,"
he said, "IS DIRTIER FINGERNAILS AND CLEANER MINDS."
Richness Of Life In Large Family
Both as
an educator and as an individual, DR. VICTOR G. ROSEMBLUM (Jewish
Professor of Law & Social Sciences and President of Reed College,
Portland, Oregon), believes there are advantages in large families that
more than compensate for the material deprivations they may have to
sustain. A member of a large family himself and the father of seven
children ranging in age from 3 to 19, he says there is "a richness of
life" in such a group scarcely obtainable elsewhere" "I BELIEVE THE
HOME IS A GREAT PLACE FOR EDUCATION - ESPECIALLY THE HOME WITH A NUMBER
OF CHILDREN. BEING INVOLVED WITH BROTHERS AND SISTERS, PARENTS AND
RELATIVES TEACHES LOVE AND AFFECTION, ACCEPTANC E, TOLERANCE, SHARING
AND THE PROPER HANDLING OF CONFLICT - ALL GOOD THINGS FOR THE
INDIVIDUAL AND SOCIETY. . ."
The Greatest Thing Of All
The greatest thing is, not that one shall become a scientist, as great
as that is; nor that one shall be a statesman, vastly important as that
is; nor even that one shall be a theologian immeasurably important as
that is; but the greatest thing of all is for one human being to bring
another to CHRIST JESUS, THE SAVIOUR.
(Ligman Beecher)
On Birth Control
"...I want to share a personal observation with you. Each year it seems
God gives me a primary thought to ponder. In 1995, I was fervently
drawn to Jeremiah 5:28: "They do not plead the case of the fatherless
to win it." In 1996, I was drawn to the powerful witness lived out in
the lives of 49 men who signed the Declaration of Independence - men
who pledged "our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor" and they
stood by their pledge at immeasurable cost. Would I be such a man. In
early 1997, the thought before me is the jarring similarity between the
reasons women give at abortion clinics for not wanting a child "at this
time" and the reasons commonly given by Christians for using
contraception and not wanting a child "at this time" either. Such is
the plight of the "unwanted child." The birth rate among Christian
spouses in America is only slightly higher than that of the public at
large (and about one-third the birth rate of Moslem nations). Among the
world's 25 largest cities in 1950, only 7 were predominantly
non-Christian, but that number will increase to 17 cities by the year
2,000, and Islam and Hinduism will be major beneficiaries. Surely God
has chosen to share, with mortal man, His power to create new life -
life that will be nurtured and trained to worship Him and we are surely
accountable to God for the way we manage our fertility. The birth
dearth now encompassing the earth will have chilling consequences
within a relatively few years and especially in the industrialized
nations. Ending abortion on demand may prove impossible so long as the
current contracepting mentality and spirit that inhabits it grip the
church. I speak as a Protestant.."
(Royce Dunn - Yuba, California)
Permanent Contraception
"According to a 1990 U.S. census report, 47.6 percent of women and 20.8
percent of men in the United States had ben sterilized by the age of 44
- 45. Does any pulpit ring with condemnation of this gross
violation of human person, this "permanent contraception," as
anti-lifers euphemize it? (Emp added) The most well-known
abortionist in the world, Dr. Malcolm Potts, openly admits what so many
clergymen cannot see, or refuse to see. Potts, who once was the medical
director of International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) in
London, said, "As people turn to contraception there will be a
rise, not a fall, in the abortion rate." (Emp added) An ace
abortionist in England, Dr. Judith Bury, observed, "There is
overwhelming evidence that contrary to what you might expect, the
provision of contraception leads to an increase in the abortion rate."
I could cite forty abortionists who have admitted the same thing."
(From Faithful For Life, autobiography of Father Paul
Marx, OSB, Page 49)
Justice Scalia's Dissent
"The method of killing a human child - one cannot accurately say an
entirely unborn human child - proscribed by this statute is so horrible
that the most clinical description of it evokes a shudder of
revulsion... The notion that the Constitution of the United States,
designed, among other things, "to establish Justice, Insure domestic
Tranquility... and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our
Posterity," prohibits the States from simply banning this visibly
brutal means of eliminating our half-born posterity is quite absurd."
(Excerpted from Justice Scalia's dissenting opinion in
the case of Stenberg v. Carhart, in which a majority of the Court held
Nebraska's ban on partial-birth abortion is unconstitutional. - Life In
Oregon, October-November 2000)\
"We worship a God who has counted the hairs of each head, and
cannot see a sparrow fall to the ground without distress. If He so
prizes all creation, are we, in our vain glory to take it upon
ourselves to decide when and in what circumstances a life - our own or
another's - should be cut short? We follow a Savior who drew the sick
and the infirm and the crazed to Him with His love. Who told us that,
insofar as we cared for them, we were caring for Him. Can caring
involve their extinction? If so, then it is Him we are extinguishing."
(Malcolm Muggeridge)
"God is beauty, majesty, power, perfection. We must love the worker
more than the work, the person more than his photographs, the Creator
more than his creatures. We love everything, except God: We love
children, parents, friends: We love our dog, cat, a bird. We love
living creatures, and we forget the Creator. God infinitely wants us to
love Him, so that we can be eternally saved: He wants us to be saved so
that we may love Him eternally. His love leads to our salvation and our
salvation leads to His love, and to express the force of His desire
even more vividly, He orders us to love Him. He has said "Thou
shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with
all thy might: This is the first greatest commandment." If He had only
allowed us to love Him, it would have been a lot. But instead, he so
ardently wants us to love Him, that He orders us to love Him..."
(Dom Augustine Marie - Monastere St. Joseph de Clairval,
France)
Prenatal Infanticide
"From May to November 1988, I worked for an abortionist. He specializes
in third trimester killings. I witnessed evidence of the brutal, cold
blooded murder of over 600 viable, healthy babies at seven, eight and
nine months' gestation. A very, very few of these babies, less than 2%,
were handicapped ... I thought I was pro-choice and I was glad to be
working at an abortion clinic. I thought I was helping provide a noble
service to women in crisis ... I was instructed to falsify the age of
the babies in medical records. I was required to lie to the mothers
over the phone, as they scheduled their appointments, and to tell them
that they were not 'too far along.' Then I had to note, in the records
that Dr. Tiller's needle had successfully pierced the walls of the
baby's heart, injecting the poison what brought death ... One day, Dr.
Tiller came up the stairs from the basement, where mothers were in
labor. He was carrying a large cardboard box, and ducked into the
employees only area of the office so that he wouldn't have to walk
through the waiting room. He passed behind my desk as I sat working on
the computer, and he turned the corner to go around the short hall. He
called out for me to come and help him. The box was so big and heavy in
his arms that he couldn't get the key into the lock. So I unlocked the
door for him, pushing the door open. I saw very clearly the gleaming
metal of the crematorium - a full sized crematorium, just like the ones
used in funeral homes. I went back to my computer. I could hear Dr.
Tiller firing up the gas oven. A few minutes later I could smell
burning human flesh. Mine was the agony of a participant, however
reluctant, in the act of prenatal infanticide.

her experience in the abortion business)
Graphic Photos Of Abortion?
"So what is it that offends many people who are shown the pictorial
truth about abortion? It is instructive to notice that people who
become infuriated after seeing gory graphics are usually not outraged
at the barbarian who did this to the baby, but rather at the person who
showed the picture to them. Why is it that in this generation, showing
pictures of emaciated, naked Jews, stacked like cordwood, engenders
emotion against the Nazis, but a garbage pail full of baby parts
produces anger at the messenger? The answer can be found by
acknowledging that the present generation bears no responsibility for
slaughtered Jews whereas the present generation is covered with the
guilt of innocent blood of aborted babies. When one is confronted with
one's own guilt, it is easier to shoot the messenger than to deal with
the guilt. That would take courage and sacrifice - two qualities that
are in short supply in contemporary society."
(By Tom Cyr, Life Advocate - October 1996)
Abortion on demand would be a calamity for womanhood ... I've had so
many women coming to my surgery and pleading with me to end their
pregnancies and being very upset when I have refused. But I have never
known a woman who, when the baby was born, was not overjoyed that I had
not killed it.
(Aleck Bourne, M.D. - London Express 1/25/67)
We are bleeding at the roots, because we are cut off from the earth and
sun and stars, and love is a grinning mockery, because, poor blossom,
we plucked it from its stem on the Tree of Life, and expected it to
keep blooming in our civilized vase on the table.
D. H. Lawrence
People are unreasonable, illogical and
self-centered.
Love them anyway!
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Do good anyway!
Succeed anyway!
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway!
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway!
The biggest men with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest
men with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway!
People favor underdogs, but follow top dogs.
Fight for some underdogs anyway!
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway!
People really need help but may attack you if you help them.
Help people anyway!
Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world your best anyway!
And GOD will reward you richly someday!
Do and be your best for GOD!

"Women have to be educated to the cruel joke being played on them in
the name of sexual freedom. There is no such thing as birth control. It
is only a worldwide experiment with women as guinea pigs, while at the
same time making someone rich! My daughter will be educated to this
fact. And hopefully, enough mothers who have experienced blood clots,
cancer, infections, hysterectomies and the countless other problems,
will realize this fact and teach their daughters the physical cycle -
the self-control and the realities of the consequences involved in
having sex when you have no intention of starting a family.
(From "Message to the 'Sexually-Liberated'
Women" by Nikaletter M. Holmgren)
The fundamental fact of human awareness is this: I am life that wants
to live in the midst of other life that wants to live. A thinking man
feels compelled to approach all life with the same reverence he has for
his own. Thus, all life becomes part of his own experiences. From such
a point of view, "good" means to maintain life, to further life, to
bring developing life to its highest value. "Evil" means to destroy
life, to hurt life, to keep life from developing. This, then is the
rational, universal and basic principle of ethics.

"Abortion Mills" - Have You Considered This?
Every place that prescribes, implants or dispenses an abortifacient is
an abortion mill. Every home where these abortifacients are employed is
an abortion mill. Every church that actively approves of
abortifacients, or passively chooses to remain silent about it, is an
accomplice to this holocaust. Picture Christian parents worshipping God
in pews, while they chemically starve their sons and daughters to
death, denying them a home in the womb.

The Boy Became Adolf Hitler
"The marvelous
French geneticist, Dr. Jerome Lejeune, my great friend and
collaborator, gave me this account, which he insisted was true: One
evening two babies were delivered by a Jewish doctor in his hospital in
Braunau. The one baby was a vigorous, healthy boy, the other a frail
girl, a victim of Down’s Syndrome. The doctor followed the two through
life. The girl survived to take care of her mother; the boy became
ADOLPH HITLER."
(From FAITHFUL FOR LIFE, autobiography of Father
Paul Marx, OSB, page 227)
Love For Christ
"We have to carry Our Lord in places where He has not walked before;
therefore, we must be consumed with one desire - JESUS - and always
keep His interests continually in our hearts and minds. This LOVE FOR
CHRIST, which is our one aim in life and our joy, will urge us to spend
ourselves without ceasing.
(Mother Teresa)
Courage
"Courage is the greatest gift of all. Courage stands before everything.
It is what preserves our liberty, safety, life, and our country and
children."
